What all does AppsDaily Mobile Protection cover for my mobile phone?

AppsDaily Mobile Protection covers your phone from the following:

  1. Theft & Burglary (1 year)
  2. Accidental Physical Damage (1 year)
  3. Accidental Liquid Damage (1 year)
  4. Fire and lightening (1 year)
  5. Data Loss (Lifetime on 1 handset)

How much value of my phone gets covered with AppsDaily Mobile Protection?

We cover the entire value of your phone as per the value mentioned on the original purchase invoice of your phone. However, there is a maximum limit of Rs.90000 on this amount.

Within how many days of phone purchase can I register AppsDaily Mobile Protection in my phone?

If the handset is purchased from a physical store, AppsDaily Mobile Protection should get registered within 3 days from the date of purchase of the handset. If the handset is purchased from an online website, AppsDaily Mobile Protection should get registered within 7 days from the date of purchase of the handset. Please note it is valid only on brand new handsets (purchased online or at retail) and not valid on second hand or refurbished handsets.

Is there any deductible amount applicable? How much it is?

In case of theft, the following depreciation is applicable:
1. 25% of the handset invoice value for claim raised between 1-180 days of handset purchase
2. 15% of the handset invoice value for claim raised between 181-365 days of handset purchase

How many times can I make a theft claim in 1 year?

Theft claims can be made only once during the protection validity period of 12 months. This means Protection is not valid on the replacement phone that you receive after the first claim is made

Can I cancel AppsDaily Mobile Protection once registered in the phone?

No, a plan once registered can't be cancelled for that particular phone

Is there any limitation OR eligibility criterion for registering AppsDaily Mobile protection?

Yes, the following eligibility criteria hold for registering any AppsDaily Mobile Protection:
1. Mobile phone, purchase Invoice of which in the name of someone who is under 18 year old is not covered
2. Mobile phones, purchase invoice date of which is more than 3 days old (if purchased from physical stores) are not covered
3. Mobile phones, purchase invoice date of which is more than 7 days old (if purchased from online website) are not covered
4. Mobile phones, the first activation date of which is more than 3 days old are not covered
5. Refurbished / Second hand mobile phones are not covered

The claim will be REJECTED if
1. The handset is not activated (connected to mobile network) within 3 days of protection plan activation
2. If the handset is activated 3 days or more before activation of the protection plan

Till when can I claim my Theft protection?

Protection is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase of handset. You can claim before completion of 1 year

Is pickpocket covered under Mobile Protection Platinum Plan?

No, pickpocket of any nature is not covered under this plan. For other exclusions, please read through the End User Agreement carefully.

What should be done first once the mobile is Theft/Stolen?

For products other than the AppsDaily Mobile Protection Platinum Series Please call up our Customer Care no. 022-38302222 and follow the guidelines given by our executive.

For AppsDaily Mobile Protection Platinum Series-Call us at 022-38302222 and register the complaint within 4 days from the date of occurrence of the incident. Thereafter, as per guided by the executive, you have to visit the nearest AppsDaily Connect Center.

Do I need to get a police complaint letter?

Yes. In case of theft, you are required to file a complaint with the nearest Police Station having jurisdiction, immediately or
